Guitar Amp Table
So, this project started with a misunderstanding and me being lazy...
I was browsing wood projects on Lumberjocks.com and saw this project
http://lumberjocks.com/projects/63151
and thought "Cool, that guy built a guitar amp in an end table"
It turns out that it was a sub woofer for his entertainment center, not a guitar amp.
Then, one night after stubbing my toe on the practice amp that I left in the living room, I thought "why not put a guitar amp in a end table? That way I wouldn't have to put it away..."
I found a cheap amp on ebay (in case my mod ruined it), and I bought the handle and hinge locally, and most of the wood I had laying around the shop.
As a proof of concept, it works. I have some ideas now how to make it better (larger for one thing). Are there any musicians out there that would like to commission one?
